Making this site has been quite the journey. I've been interested in learning how static site generators worked for years, so I was finally ready to take the plunge into Gatsby.js March of 2018. It's taken me about 1 month to go from zero to published and hopefully having the ability to continuously deploy will support me iterating and learning more about the JAM stack and GraphQL.
